Day 3

Katsura bro haka
 Another day in Rotorua, Elizabeth went for a long run and Randy Neil and I went to explore the Maori village lifestyle.   We walked to the geothermal field, Whakarewarewa.  We saw geysers, smelled sulfur beds and observed the Maori traditions of bathing in natural hot springs, religion and Haka rituals.
Valentine Gondola Ride

After a yummy lunch we took a gondola ride to the top of a mountain where we enjoyed the views and some wine tasting with our new friend, Johnny. We all decided against the luge rides, downhill mountain biking, skyswing, and ziplining.  The gondola was exciting enough.

    I enjoyed the big Maori women doing the haka expressions. I bought wool nipple warmers for a Valentines Day present.
